P5E usb mouse power on... is it possible?

Is it possible to power up my P5E with a mouse click? I have a one yr old boy and it would be great if I could hide my power button which he loves pressing!!

I can't figure it out. I used to do it years ago with a PS2 mouse, I could be having a blonde moment tho....

It's in the BIOS, I'm pretty sure there is an option under power management where you can set what devices turn on the computer. USB should be one of them (i think!).

AFAIK NO, only PS2 Mouse or KB an LAN Devices.

Helmut is correct.used to do that with my old ps2 keyboard-press space bar and it would turn on (after setting it in bios) but it won't do it for usb devices.

Bios has to load the usb drivers and they then request how much power they need from the motherboard-this can't happen without the motherboard not already running
