Hello

I am a first time PC builder, I want a pretty fast PC to play FSX with vista 64-bit OS.

I was thinking of either of the 2 mobo's mentioned above, but given that for a while I will be not overclocking it till I am comfortable with the BIOS.
My concerns about the asus is overvoltage on auto setting and made in china
With the gigabyte which is made in tawian that should make it better, but how easy is it to overclock when the time comes to do that. Not sure which mobo is easier for 1st timer.

I think the Asus P5Q Deluxe is the better motherboard, it's the one I bought....

My fear with the asus is its made in china while the gigabyte is made in tawian, tawian is far more expereicned at making h/w, which also seems to be reflected in the failure rate of asus mobo's these days.

The Asus P45 boards are very good you really cant go wrong with a P5Q
