Hi guys, I'm nearly about to buy all the components for my build but I am really stumped with the motherboard. My build will have to support i5-2500k, ATI HD6950 CF, an SSD and the usual stuff.

I don't know which motherboard to choose. I've been put of by the ASUS P8P67-PRO because of numerous complaints/mixed reactions I've read. I was about to get the MSI P67A-GD65 but I'm not sure that the placement of some of the headers will allow me to have a nice and tidy build. So do you guys have any recommendations or opinions?

Also used a P8P67 Pro (B2) and it was flawless.
Went for an Asus board again when it went back for a refund & not regretted it once.

Do you NEED the Pro version of the P8P67?

It offers more DigiVRM phases (irrelevant tbh) and both CrossFire/SLI support.

If you do not need the latter save cash and get the base non-pro. I use it with a 4.5Ghz i7 clock and it's rock solid.
