P67 or Z68

I need a mobo for gaming only, I watch some videos on youtube, but nothing major, not really worried about that side of it. Nor do I do image editing.

I just want a good board that has features and budget.

I'm not sure which to pick.

P is the past Z is the future

From those 2 choices would it be correct that you are buying a 'K' version processor for overclocking?

This Gigabyte board on special this week has the Z68 chipset which allows overclocking and is a very good price:-

Only though if you intend to just run 1 graphics card.

I see that Z68XP-UD3 being reccommended nearly everwhere. What is so special about it really?

Isn't it the cheapest Z68 board which does SLI and Crossfire at x8/x8?
