Hi, just ordered a B grade one of these because my p6tse does not have sli and I'm getting another 480. Does this board give space between the cards and enough room for my pci sound card too?

Will the sli connector that came with the asus or is coming with the new 480 be ok for the space between slots on this board?

No it was a P6T only in the listing not deluxe or v2 and is not on the B grade list anymore since I bought the last one.

It looked like there was a pci slot under the two pcie graphics slots though which led me to choose it because I figured that would be GFX space GFX space SOUND you know the board I mean?

Other thing is......just noticed I don't own an sli bridge and this might not have one. Can I buy any sli bridge off ebay? Be using the two blue slotsi n the pics below.

It is this

Can you run in slots 1 and 3 or will that drop the 2nd card to 8x?

Can I buy any old sli connector as there are some 12cm flexible ones on ebay but might be a couple of years old are they all the same spec?

Thanks for help so far.

Thanks well is it best to run the new one with 3 fans on it the gigabyte blowing air onto the back of the asus reference because the asus is going to be the hotter of the two cards by miles.

Yeah they better :) it's for rift mostly which seems to give crysis a run for it's money performance wise or at least it would if they allowed 32xAA
