PAC code, new contract.. same provider..

Hi I've seen a deal on a 3rd party site for a great Note II deal, but it's with t-mobile, and I've talked to the rep on the online chat who wasn't helpful at all with trying to match it, and from what I've heard I can't cancel and reapply my PAC to the same company, but I was thinking if I were to port it to giffgaff, take out this new contract and then move the number back, would that work?

I think that should work. Transfer to a PAYG sim then back.

Someone else will be able to confirm.

What's the TTL on PAC again? Is it 60 or 30 days?
