Packard Bell Easynote NJ65 Driver! Argh

So,

After hours of searching around the web I have come up blank for the Conexant Modem driver that this machine uses, for XP 32 bit.

Packard Bell seem to only provide a Vista driver which doesnt work.

I dont suppose any clever soul knows the Modem chipset that this POS uses?!

just click driver update on the device manager properties page for it and let windows update find it, may take a few minutes but should be successful for a modem driver

If that doesn't work, go to the properties of the device in device manager, go to the 'details' tab and go to 'hardware' in the drop down.

Copy and paste the Hardware ID (there may be more than one, try them individually) into your favourite search engine. If you get nothing, chop off some of the end of the string, and try again.

Usually this will get you the information you need to find the driver
