PADI

Don't have too much fun! I'm looking forward to my first A380 experience next week. Sadly only peasant class, but still excited. Enjoy the diving!

Phuket is a fun town but I'm going to have to hold of the partying so I can get up early

I still have not been on he dereamliner.

I almost always go economy but i did 100 hours of locum work in the hospital which finally got paid so that more or less covered the flights and diving.

I wish I could justify flying business every time as its such a nice experience.
Couple of pics.

PADI & TDI Diver here. Qualifed to 60m with Trimix. 180ish dives and have been 'seriously' diving for 2-3 years. Have dived in the red sea a lot, also Australia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, UK & Ireland.

As soon as we're settled into the apartment I'll be hitting the Portugal diving scene, quite a bit to be had here, but it's not very popular which is nice :)

I love diving sidemount for recreational diving. Backmount when tech diving. Although I want to try Tech SM.

I've got a full cavern and intro to cave course booked in Spain with Garry Dallas (the wookie) in December. Should be good! :)

Haha I was doing the math in my head and I can't make it work. I used all sorts of man logic but it's not going to happen

Book regular economy and upgrade absolute last minute (usually on the plane) to get a hell of a deal - providing seats are available.
Business on my trip usually $3-4k, on flight upgrade about $500-700.

Really. How do you do that? I was quoted crazy money at the airline desk but the flight was only 1.5k when booked in advance.

Been diving for over 12 years now.
Took my OW in Cuba back in 2004.
Did my AOW in the Maldives in 2006.
Just left it like that, not taken any further courses.
Been all over diving, mostly in and around the Caribbean though, Dom Rep, Cuba, Mexico, Aruba.
Mauritius and Maldives as well.
Suprisingly have done no diving in the UK.

Hey folks, thanks for all the info. I decided to stick with PADI and am now an AOW with Nitrox diver!

Enjoyed the course, especially the wreck dive so looking to do that speciality at somepoint.
