Page fault in nonpaged area when overclocking 8700K beyond 5ghz

I have my 8700K overclocked to 5ghz at 1.30V with RAM at 3200mhz CL14 1.35V using XMP profile.

I am trying to get 5.1ghz now, and so far up to 1.34V VCORE I am getting a page fault in nonpaged area blue screen. Is this a problem with my RAM rather than my CPU not getting enough voltage?

I'm a bit lost with what to try changing from here.

Thanks.

Could be not enough voltage try uping the voltage in slight increments and see if you still get the same fault but keep an eye on temps .

That voltage is low... the 8Pack delidded are more like 1.4v on core with cache ratio at 44 min and max.

You will need to delid it really if you want more because the thermals are going to be through the roof... If you’re worried about RAM set it to stock and test but should support 4K+ with no issues on better sticks.

As I achieved a stable OC at 5.0Ghz / 1.3V / 70°C I was hoping I had a good chip, but yes, it seems you're right.

I can pass a cpu-z benchmark at 5.1G / 1.34V / 72°C but Cinebench instantly blue screens. Maybe I'm close. It looks like 1.37V will be my limit withoit a delid and staying under 80°C.

Put the ram on stock and see if you have the same problem... This sounds like it’s not a limit but also:

Avx offset 3
All core ratio 50
Digi power llc level 6, could current cap 140%
Cache ratio min 44
Cache ratio max 44

Core voltage 1.4
Dram voltage 1.4
Vccio 1.1
Vccsa1.1

Then try higher ratio but you will need to delid...
