Why does no one use this? It is free and pretty decent and expandable with plugins.

Because everyone who is serious about photography uses Photoshop and/or Lightroom.

I use it, mainly because it's free. I do sometimes need to use a feature that only photoshop has, but I find it is fine for my most of my editing needs.

Many features come from plugins - they have a huge amount for photo processing. Just seems to me that loads of people go out and pay £200+ of whatever it is before considering free software!

Do you know if there is a feature to get a soft brush? As that is what I often find myself needing for when doing exposure blending.
