Paint Quality

Collected the keys on my first house purchase yesterday and looking to make it my own.

Have a few colours in mind but would like opinions on the quality of paint brands. Is Dulux the go to and worth the premium over something like standard B&Q paint?

I'm thinking as I won't be painting all the time that the additional cost is worth it? Will be painting four rooms in total and the hallway, stairs and landing.

Will also be painting a few doors too, including some built in wardrobe doors. Possibly the kitchen cupboards too. These will be done later though.

Go full corner sofa, gucci belt excellence with some Farrow & Ball

Aren't corner sofas a bit chavvy though? (I've read GD posts before now )

Thanks for the advice all, have a local B&Q so I'll check there but definitely going to check if there's a local decorators centre nearby.
