I went for my 25th with 12 mates in october to Delta Force - Leeds and had an excellent day. However it was a killer buying paintballs for £6.99 per 100. It hurt way more shooting some than getting shot - knowing everytime you shot someone 7p went flying out the end of your gun!

Why do they charge such extortionate prices? You can get 2000 for less than £20 on ebay. £5 for 500 sounds much better to me

Post here if you love paintballing but hate them charging you about a 1000% markup price. (They will get them for probably £10 for 2000)

I will be visiting ebay for 4000 balls before we go again, hopefully this month

That's how they make their money mate.

I understand its how they make their money. Only charging £10 for the day. But is it really necessary to charge £7 for 100 balls?

£4 for 100 would be a lot better. That way everyone gets loads of balls and they make a tidy profit too. I think they are jsut being greedy £35 for 1000 and they would still make loads of dosh. They can get them it at probably £10 for 2000

Screw them, when i go next time im doing like some of my mates did years ago and taking my own

I've never seen a dropped pellet break. If they were that fragile they'd never survive insode the hopper.

My hopper came open due to being loose and they went all over the floor when i played in one game. I sat there scooping them up and putting back into the gun in the mud as i was getting peppered

Given you've been, you have been told why you shouldn't use dropped paint?

£7 dropped on the floor due to a knackered hopper. It i had dropped them by mistake it would be my fault, so fair enough, but it wasnt. I never heard them say anything about using dropped paint. I'm sure a few people were doing it throughout the day

The site we use near us is free with a free lunch included however paintballs are £6 per 100 as well. However you can buy a full box for of 2000 for £80 which makes them only £4 per 100.

This sounds fair. Delta Force charge £10 each in, no free lunch and £7 per 100
