Does anyone here go regularly, or part of any tournaments?

Where's your favourite paintball site and why?

Have started going myself every couple of weeks now, a group of us (14) went to Swaffham Skirmish on sunday and had a blast, we went to a much smaller place last month in Pidley, some farmer had basically converted a wood/field and dug a few trenches, we had a 20 strong group that day and considering the limited facilities had some seriously good scenarios!

I've been once for my stag do and took 2 paintball shots to the head at close range, lovely mark 1 week before my wedding....when i get home il upload the photo for you all to have a laugh lol

Haha yeah those can hurt, the worst is when the paintballs are still warm and don't break as easy, a month ago in pidley on one of the runs I didn't put my hood up due to the mask steaming up, I took two paintballs straight to the top of my head, the second didn't break..

Some hefty jeans should do you!

I took a mate of mine for the first time on sunday, I thought he was joking on the phone.. but sure enough when I picked him up, he'd wrapped his family jewels in two pairs of socks. pansy.

ive played at that swaffham place before and its a good laugh, dont like the round where there is hardly any cover, just a few nets and that, and you are just peppering each other.

(forget what its called mind)

The worst place to get shot is anywhere fleshy, got a huge bruise once with one hitting me and not breaking just above the armpit, between my chest and shoulder, stung like hell!

The one with the tires? that probably has the least cover, you think you're well hidden behind a stack of tires, then you realise your behind is sticking out.. I got shot right on the fleshy bit of my behind on sunday (tmi..), jesus was that a lucky shot.

When i went, Like i said it was for a Stag Do, they had something planned for me so i turned it round to my best man, and when we got back, he had 27 bruises :D All thanks to me lol...he couldnt stand up at my wedding PMSL

Yeah my worst so far has to be the really soft part in between your neck and collar bone, I took a hit there last month and thought it had torn the skin it hurt so much!

My second worst probably has to be from yesterday.. it was an extremely cold day (the site was frosted over) so all the little bits were obviously quite cold, especially the fingers - I was wearing fingerless paintball gloves that protect the knuckles, but one hit my index finger as it was resting on the trigger from about 15ft away, and as there was nothing behind the finger but the metal trigger.. my god..

Did it on my stag as well...at the end we played 'Hunt the Stag', where me and my best man were pitted against everyone else. All the rules about minimum distance went out the window at that point. Hurt.

I play and help out www.unrealpaintball.co.uk

The group of mates that I go paintballing with regularly play here, we have been to a fair few sites around the country and this is one of, if not the best.

It is also a bonus being local as I am in Crewe and the site is in Madeley.

If anyone fancies a day's paintballing there let me know !!!

my first time i got shot, it hit the grill guard over my mouth and then proceeded to explode into the back of my throat...

lesson learned. keep your mouth closed whilst in close combat. ;)

all in all though, such a laugh! altho very expensive down this way.

And wear a full face mask like the rest of us!!!

Yes - don't play as much as I used to, now tournaments once a month during the warmer months. Have played regularly for the last 15 years.

Don't have a favourite site, just go wherever the tournaments are held.
