If they did make it with modern graphics, interface, etc.... Then it could loose much of it's appeal as the iconic game in which it is. It would have to be something very special to top the original and a plain remake would not satisfy its many fans.
A sequel is what many people would love to see and they would probably be slightly annoyed if a remake was done instead of a sequel. I know i would (although i don't think a sequel should be made either).

It's not on the list because it obviously does not work. What relevance would a remake have on whether the original game works on the PS3 or not?![]()
