Hi guys, i recently bought a pc from OC with the below spec and i cannot get the graphics card drivers to work at all and its starting to really **** me off !!

Its a Asus H110 Pro motherboard and a Palit GTX 1050 Storm X and When i come to installing the drivers, right after the compatibllity text it gives the error

Nvidia Installer Cannot Continue - The Nvidia Graphics Driver is not compatible with this versions of windows.

Ive tried the automatic detection, ive tried reinstalling it, older versions, reinstalling windows as well as the drivers from the palit website with no luck at all. There is a tutorial online about changing the INF file but thats not working for me either.

Can anyone help or advise at all or am i best returning it getting another brand ?

I would appreciate any help at all !

Normally comes up if you accidently select 32 bit for a 64 bit system or reverse. I would check which version of windows you are running.

Have you checked whether you have 32 or 64 Bit Windows 10 and what version of the driver you are getting from the nVidia website?

Is your date/Time set correctly?

Have you performed Windows Update?

Do you have an integrated GPU, have you tried disabling it?

yes i tried DDU, yes my time iand date is correct, it does have integrated GPU but ive disabled it (was hoping itd be that simple tbh) not sure if its updated but its on auto update and has had a couple of nights to do so

By latest version do you mean the latest update ?

Ive just noticed one of the fixes is for wdmc nvidia 1050. So fingers crossed it will install now

Is your Bios up to date?

Check Motherboard vendor to see if a new Bios has been released.

I just had a quick check :eek:nope! You can graft the 20+ different versions of your motherboard. :p

It hasnt updated fully but has now and is working :)

Thanks for the help guys much appreciated !!!!

I wonder if it was something to do with having to run the latest .net framework? Normally the installer is smart enough to tell you if it needs the latest .net update but then again I've not used W10.
