I hate palit...
they put a sticker for warranty over the screws on the back so if you replace the TIM your warranty is void..
Their RMA is probably not as good as others. I would prefer to buy KFA or Gigabyte due to UK service centers.
The vast majority of manufacturers' warranties are voided if you remove the stock cooler, even just to change the thermal paste. Whilst Palit may make it harder by placing stickers over the screws, in reality it's very very hard to remove a modern cooler without make any marks whatsoever, no matter how careful you are.
Basically, if you remove the cooler then assume your warranty is toast, unless the manufacturer specifically states otherwise.
I'd also dispute the "cheap and cheerful" comment. Palit/Gainward seem to be trying to carve a bit of a niche out for themselves in providing cards with double the standard memory together with custom coolers.
There RMA is probably not as good, What does this mean ?
Just seems a bit of a random comment.
The GTX 480 must be bad if you're considering buying a 570![]()
I think it's noise related only.
But to spend £280 on a card that's roughly equal performance..... it must be very loud.

Looking at the 570.
I don't get it. Now I can understand why you'd choose the 480, but that much more money for a 570 with sub 6970 performance?

But hey, I am not saying don't buy!It seems it's retail dependent.
