Hi, I am considering getting. 55 inch Panasonic Z95b to replace an old Samsung tv. I like the idea of its audio to replace my old Samsung sound bar and like the idea of the upgrade in my screen as it’s oled. Can anyone explain to me with this type of tv how much changing of viewing modes do I need to do watching my sky stream puck? I have hdr but wonder if leaving the tv set to its ai mode will be ok or is it better to switch modes depending on what is being watched? Anyone here have one and can say about this and what the audio is like?
Thanks.

Typical AI mode or auto stuff is just poop.

Use filmmaker mode or something like that, use a calibration DVD/BD to tweak your TV, use settings from rtings as a starting point.

Once setup settings should be similar, although with freeview you probably would use noise reduction, and for BD you'd disable noise reduction

We've got an older Master Oled panel Panasonic TV. IIRC it's the LZ1000. Been extremely happy with it. Having both HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision is great. We don't wall mount (the walls here are weird) so a stand that mounts in the middle and allows the TV to rotate is extremely useful.

Filmmaker mode is the only mode we use. Turned off all the 'intelligent frame creation', it's just abysmal.

Add in a Panasonic UB820 (especially a region free one) and you're good. :D

Thanks for the insights.
I plan to install on existing wall mount which is one of those that can be extended and tilted from wall (it’s rated to take up to a 77 inch so is strong enough). Am hoping that as it won’t be flush to the wall ( there is a 6 inch gap between the existing Samsung and the wall) I hope that this won’t interfere with the z95b rear speaker.

Disable the internal speaker and buy a 7.2.4 AVR speaker system, problem solved :D I've muted my OLED speakers they sound horrendous

I watch everything on Filmmaker except whwre on of the built in apps has a specific calibration option (think it's Netflix).

I wouldn't touch the AI or other "enhanced" modes. The reason to get a Panasonic is for the out the box calibration in Filmmaker mode.
