I stood exactly there and all I could see was fog :(

Not as crystal clear as some of the images here but is was a pretty hazy day when I visited.

Spoilt for choice with good vistas in SA.

For me this is the best panoramic view -

And from our hotel balcony -

I visited Egypt in 1990 just before the 1st Gulf War and it must have been a good half hour drive from Cairo to get to Giza. A shame to see how much Cairo has grown since.

Bit of an unusual one this but not every day you get to see a cheetah up close just after it has made a kill.

In the summer take the highest vertical ascent cable car (the Téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi ) in the world from Chamonix up the Aiguille du Midi and enjoy the panorama of mountain tops of the Mont Blanc massif. Then continue by taking the 5 km panoramic Mont Blanc cable car ride which crosses the Mont Blanc Massif to Point Helbronner in Italy. This is the highest cable car traverse in the world.

The panoramic views are spectacular.

Cable cars and Alps
