I used to be quite the paper aeroplane enthusiast, and still am to a certain extent. There was a competition back in '94 in Yorkshire, where all us paper plane enthusiasts met up to share our ideas, was a blast. We held a competition to see whose could go for the longest, I won. Greatest day of my life.
We had a paper aeroplane competition at Junior School when I was 10 (gawd nearly 2 decades ago). I think I remember using a protractor and ruler to ensure it was a perfect as it could be and needed a couple of goes at it.

I won by a mile and was well chuffed, it only came to stop when it hit the other side of the courtyard - bloody won a silly portable radio that died a few days later and needed some obscure watch battery. Was gutted...
Those were the days - might even tell you when I won 50p for completing the crossword in the weekly school newspaper. Being the editor at the time sure helped ...
