Anyone watch it last night?

It has the feel of Primeval to it,

Was a bit of a poor episode but it was only the introduction to the (insert word) of the series.

it's on iplayer if you missed it

I saw it... nothing particularly special. I hated the fact that they were completely bashing Atheism. Might as well watch it till the end though.

i havent seen it yet but it looks quite interesting and btw how ccan you bash athieism. what are you supposed to say "ha ha you have losts of evidence for your theory"?

I thought it was rather predictable (it had to end like that in order for there to be proof to carry the rest of the series) and the lead scientist was just a prat of a character. The idea that this supposed genius thought that the best way to enlist the asistance of a female policewoman was the creep her out and give her a feeling of being threatened. Good luck with that you muppet. Even my wife commented that she found the whole "dark, brooding and mysterious" angle they were so obviously shooting for utterly ridiculous. She also teaches RE and even she thought that the religious stuff was laid on with a trowel.

it would have been allright as a one off but as a series i can see it getting old fast.

no doubt they will start using CSI style crap soon.

hey look zoom in on that pixel 1million times , wow awesome clarity

The most ridiculous things I found were the sheer incompitence of the police officers.

There is a possible bomb threat on a train, you supposidly know where its going to happen.

Why not just call the rail company, "Oh hai, there's a bomb threat on the train, can you please hold it at X station and don't let any trains over X bridge until we give the all clear, k thx bai"

Job done, disaster averted.

I agree Hex. The bit that made me chuckle was that they were in a nice, large, NCAP5 Laguna trying to stop a lorry. So obviously they stop several hundred yards away from the bridge, on the opposite side from the lorry and try to flag down the sleepy driver on foot. I know we're supposed to suspend disbelief but come on! Very lazy writing.

Ha, yeah Mrs and I were like... um why have they stopped?

Plus the fact that yeah the guy in the truck was sleepy, but come on, that road was as straight as an arrow and you could see the low bridge the second you turned onto it :|

Also, even better was when the two police guys went to check out the bridge, and they are walking towards it and one of them goes 'Watch out for tripwires'... when 10 seconds earlier a car had blatantly driven past them straight under the bridge... :D

Fixed.

But no, she very clearly made that seem as though it's a bad thing, and as if that was the typical atheist - a mad scientist. She also brought up the matter of proof, on which religion is sincerely lacking.

thanks i always have been a lazy typist

Where was the actual paradox? I was convinced they were going to cause the accident (thereby actually having a paradox) but no. I'll watch it next week but it was rubbish. :D
