Goto drivers and downloads, select laptops and latitude and the e5420 model (others may work) and select XP as the O/S.
Now goto SATA and there should be the download link for PAT which includes the product and serial number key on extraction.
It may be limited to use on Dell PC's but I could not see and customization on any of the menu's or anything.
