Parallel or serial

I heard it doesn't matter too much although some people will argue water follows the path of least resistance and will service the top card better if going parallel. But then going serial the second card is going to get the heated up water from the first.

I went parallel with mine and temps are pretty much the same on both cards, bottom card being 1-2c warmer (but it is running as my primary, e.g. bottom card powers my monitor).
 
So parallel = water temp equal going to both gpu's but creates more resistance on flow?
Serial = water goes in first gpu then onto the second and creates less resistance?

Parallel means both cards get water IN at the same time and water comes OUT both at the same time. Serial means water flows through top first and then flows through bottom.

I think resistance is similar by the way. If anything probably parallel is less restrictive, but it doesn't make a huge difference so don't worry. Once water is being squeeze through the blocks (which by their nature will be the most restrictive part of your whole loop) i don't think it matters too much how it came in or went out.

Its one of many tough choices you encounter when doing a loop :-) I think its mostly personal preference as both methods (parallel or serial) work well.
 
I prefer serial just for the simple reason that it is, well, simpler! I don't think there is really a noticable performance difference between the two
 
would be using ek csq bridge, do wouldn't fitting be the same for which ever method??

Would have thought now it wouldn't be much different, but not sure really, i wanted a proper bridge, but my motherboard seems to have odd spacings between slots so didn't know exactly which bridge i'd need.
 
I went with the CSQ parallel in the end, as I needed the outlet port on the top left so it could go straight into the CPU block.

The CSQ serial outlet is on the top right which was no good for me.

Just thought I'd let you know about the port differences as I was going to go serial originally ordered it then only to find that out.
