Parallel Printer - USB Motherboard

I am hoping to do a system rebuild soon but notice that some motherboards do not have a parallel port that my printer needs. Apart from buy a new printer, is there any way to match the two up - a converter or something?

you should able to get your hands on a parallel --> usb adapter

be careful with your choice of usb/parallel adapter. Not all of them work as they're supposed to. I bought 2 and one is tempremental, the other is fine with my bjc 5500 printer.
