Parallels Upgrade

I've just bought an upgrade to Parallels Desktop 3.0 but can't get it to activate. Asks for the new key then the old key to verify, at which point it tells me it's invalid. :rolleyes:

I've not used Parallels Desktop 2.x on this Leopard install and the most recent version I've got stashed on backup is 3170, which installs then crashes the Mac when I run it, I guess because it's a 10.4 build.

Any ideas?

I recall having a similar problem. I *think* I resolved it by logging in to their site (with username/password) and finding previous downloads and keys.

Parallels 3.0 user here (although not an upgrade).

I would also find their 5604 (beta) and final 5608 build rather than just attempt to use an earlier build. I'm running 10.5.3. Anything pre-5600 is not supported with Leopard (or was that 10.5.3 - I can't remember).

That's nice - give you a download link to 5582 when 5608 is out.

I'm on 10.5.3 so I'll give it a try...

It's certainly recommended - there's several issues 5604+ sort out (graphics glitches such as menus etc).
