Any of you guys running this?

I am thinking of getting an iMac 27" i7. I just watched this youtube vid:

Does it really run this well!!

I do not know what hardware he is running it on but im sure a Core i7 machine must be better.

(sorry think this needs to be in the software section)

It runs as well as that on my MBP, never mind on an i7 iMac.

always think of emulation as being rubbish but if you can run Win7 in a window like that then im off for an imac. Why do i need my PC. Made the mistake of going in the Apple store OMG, drool.

Yes, I can play Eve in a Parallels Windows 7 VM with no problems on my Mac Pro.

That is awesome Feek. I never realised you could do that. I knew it was possible with dual boot but with emulation, just awesome.

The only thing that is making me hesitate on the imac is the 4850. If it had a 5850 at a slightly higher price then the machine would be perfect.

It's not just straight-up emulation these days.

The recent Intel chips have hardware support to speed this type of thing up.

My only gripe with running Win 7 in Parallels on my MBP 13" is the temps. They idle in the 70s and when Im actually doing anything they jump up to the mid to late 80's fairly easily and quickly.
