parasol

any suggestions where to get one?
there's this thing called the internet. apparently you can buy all sorts of off it, might be worth checking that out.

joking aside, just google it - there's a plethora of options with many differing price ranges. it's a parasol - you can't really go wrong.

Whatever ones you look at, I'd say check the thickness of the fabric, cheaper ones (unsurprisingly) use thin cheap material. These can just diffuse the sunlight rather than block it and it's a bit more delicate.
So perhaps not the best UV blocking if you plan to sit under one for hours.

When my son was about 3 months old, I was outside sun bathing and he was in his little bouncer thing, under a parasol to keep the sun off him, or so I thought.....

Also a bit more durable in the wind.

Can anyone recommend a good cantilever parasol with base?
Looking for something durable, either square or rectangular around 3m.

I would absolutely avoid getting a cantilever parasol. The slightest hint of wind and the thing is swaying something silly. I had to tether ours down with 3 lines to hold it still and know others who have done the same.

Hi Clarkey, thank you for replying.
I'm afraid I don't have much choice unless I fork out ££££ for something like a pergola.
I don't think tethering it would be too much of an issue tbh.

Nobody else using one they would recommend?

I'm looking for a cheapish grey parasol for my picnic bench in the garden, any suggestions where to get one?

Don't scrimp on the weight of it whatever you do! I speak from experience of my partner buying them cheap
