Parcel came to wrong address

Generally hate to see anything "door stepped" as it's left in the view of anyone wandering up the street and can be taken. Doesn't help if it's the wrong address too.

That's why Royal Mail Posties aren't allowed/supposed to doorstep/blue bin etc

DHL are literally useless - I had 3 items sent at the same time from China - 2 by Hong Kong Post standard and 1 by DHL express... still waiting on the DHL one like 5-6 weeks later the HK post ones turned up in like 6-7 days.

Had DPD and DHL deliver within 5 minutes of each other the other day, DPD guy was cheery, handed the item over after signing for it, etc. the DHL guy was surly, dropped the item 2 feet from the door and made no effort to move it after getting a signature (not that I really cared but the difference in customer service by comparison was huge).

In this case it probably isn't DHLs fault...

A boring end to a rather boring thread.

Rechecked the note and in very small text was a contact number for delivery. Rang the bloke and he was a couple of miles up the road and collected it.

Good job and a happy ending.

Now if you need advice on how to wipe your arse then create a new thread.

That said, 1 up, 1 down and 1 to polish.
