What is the longest time you have had to wait before receiving your package!

I'm on my 16th day :mad: been down the local post office just in case my retard postman decided not to put the thing through the door to say he didn't want to push the doorbell twice, however its not there!

I can't file a report to the company till the 21st day :rolleyes: What can possibly keep a parcel this long from me, i hope someone gets fired for my impatience?

Electronics and gadget items priced under £25 will be sent by 1st Class mail.
apparently! i hope i can get a new one sent when i file the report in a few days! If they try to tell me i have received it then i shall post the company name here so you can stop buying stuff from them!
 
25 days I had to wait for my HDFury to come from Taiwan. :mad::mad:


Longest ive ever had to wait and the only parcel Ive ever had delivered that didnt come on time. :(
 
I didn't receive it, but it took RM almost 2 months (and 2 deliveries) to send a birthday present to Turkey for a friend. Ironically enough the Special Delivery service just sat around and didn't get delivered and got sent back to me here; normal Airmail (which cost about 1/3 the price) got delivered within a week!
 
im waiting for an item too and its now the 17th day since dispatch date. It is being imported from asia though but is still a bit long to wait, and im expecting the worst. Also happens to be the longest ive had to wait for an item to be delivered!

I was once waiting a month for my Sky Broadband pack to arrive. It only took that long becasue Parcel Force tried to deliver it but neglected to put a card through the letterbox. When I finally rang Sky to complain they told me that delivery had been attempted and that it was at my local post office. I popped down to get it but they refused to give it me without the card. It took 30 mins of argueing before they finally agreed to hand it over.

Our records show that the item you selected was dispatched on 18/01/2008. Although items are usually received within 3–5 days of the dispatch date, we need to wait 21 days from the date of dispatch before being able to trace, replace or refund lost items.

Please return to this page if you have not received the item after the end of the 21 day period (after 08/02/2008). We will then arrange for a replacement item or refund.


Who here reckons its still in the post? This is ridiculous! I hope i get to the 21 days and if hasn't come i ask for a new one, then i get the 2 hah, would serve them right imo!
 
Slightly OT, but our local postie tries to deliver recorded/SD items between 11am-12pm. Like someone will be in during the week at that time :rolleyes:

Means I'm gonna have to drive from work to the local PO on Friday, thus wasting a lunchbreak. Irritating!
