I certainly hope no one in Central or east scotland is expecting a delivery today from this bunch if inept monkeys.

Perth depot is down, due to Snow and serves the whole of east scotland etc. Im 20 mins down the road just been up there and the roads are perfectly clear into and out of perth. Absolute disgrace of a company. It managed to get from snow laden part of england last night to perth and then fail.

Phone there customer service for perth depot. Redirected to call center. They cant tell you if you can go get it from there and that most likely you can.

So anyone in East scotland fife etc waiting on something from parcel farce today your out of luck as its the main hub in scotland. so 29th if were lucky.

thats actually quite fail...

so basically they gave too many drivers holiday and now need an excuse :P

only delivery firm i find anygood are citylink.

Why is this a problem? Surely driver safety is the companies most important concern and aren't conditions in some of Scotland awful?

get a grip the roads are perfectly clear honestly look at the traffic cams, i just drove up there. Any excuse.

They have just delivered my Parcels, was supposed to be a 5 day delivery time, they did it in 3.

Kudos Parcelforce :)

thats cos your from wolves... if they don't get delivered on time they get a horde of cavemen outside their offices. i should know, im normally with them!

I'm expecting a parcel today by UPS that I should have received yesterday but they couldn't get to me due to 'adverse weather conditions'. The roads around here aren't that bad; certainly not the main roads which are used to get to mine.

Perth depot 0844 209 6188 (make sure you press option 5 to get through to the staff at the depot rather than the main switchboard).

If the roads are clear you could probably drive down there and grab it in person. Be warned though, there is a lot of ice out there today even though the roads might look ok!

It's not helping that Scottish news programmes are all touting the terrible conditions when in fact there's nothing wrong with most of the major roads. "Worst cold snap in 20 years" according to STV news last night, when M74, M8 and M80 were all perfectly passable as are most town and city roads, only country roads have problems of any kind.

Scottish news are getting as bad as the English ones for blowing any cold weather completely out of proportion, for most drivers north and south of the border driving conditions are fine, it's the few muppets who drive too quickly, too close together and have a smash that cause the traffic problems, not the weather.

Parcel Force probably have a few drivers off because of the "adverse weather conditions" and they're unable to get to work. Not much the company can do if staff don't come in and others are on annual leave.
