Im so gonna get slated for this...

I sent a parcel last month via parcelforce, and the utter planks posted it to the senders address and it ended up being delivered back to me (it was never attempted to have been delivered at delivery address, I am the sender). Now, ive put a claim in to them for the £26 postage costs in an attempt to get them back, as they posted it back to myself, and not to the intended addressee. They have sent me a letter back saying before they can pay out they need to know the contents of the package and have proof of purchase of the goods, which to me sounds like they are planning on coughing up the value of the goods, not just the postage.

What would you do? Reply to them telling them all you want is the value of the postage reimbursed, or send them the invoice they asked, in the hope their admin team are idiots and send you a £282 cheque.

The claim form and attached letter clearly state a claim for £25.99 for the value of the postage, and the attached letter explains what happened, so really if i just send them the documentation and they are daft enough to send me the value of the goods when ive clearly stated all im claiming, is there anything they could do legally afterwards.

Cheers

I've had a similar problem twice now. First they didn't collect, then they bounced the package back to me. Meanwhile the buyer has been ignoring me and started a Paypal claim. Definitely not using PF to send again...

do what they ask, they can either refund your posatge or give you a christmas bonus :)

its win win

PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARCEL FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORCE!!

WE WILL GET THIS PACKAGE TO YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOU!

:D :p

Lol, I just watched this today. Attempted delivery?! :D

On topic I would say as little as possible, give them the info they have asked for and keep your fingers crossed, but then I am an unscrupulous type ;)
