Parent proof backup facility

Always on the M1.....
My parents need some way of backing up their PC, realised when they almost lost all my sister's digital wedding photos recently... :o

Anyway, they're not too bad on the old PC, but I would draw the line at anything too fancy, so was thinking of some sort of external firewire/USB solution.

I seem to recall that some of the drives have a one button backup thing, which would make it almost parent proof.

Anyone use one of these and can attest to it's usability? Remember, I'm impressed they can use a PC at all, so nothing too complex! I can set it up for them if need be, but it needs to be otherwise idiot proof. They also use 2 different user accounts on the same PC, don't know if this affects it or not?

Cheers!

Something like a western digital external HD with the push to backup button.

Seems like a good call, your looking 90 quid for a 500gb.

and it can be used as a HDD, you have got USB2 or Firewire options too,

They can then unplug it and put it somewhere safe, and then just connect it up press *** button comeback and its backed up.

They will just have to install some software.

Also offsite as what if you have a house fire etc

Store it at Granma's!!!!

Seriously, the Western Digital one sounds like the sort of parent proof system I'm after. Probably direct them that way.
