Parents really do my head in (tv's)

Do you really expect your parents to buy a huge high definition televison (£1000+), a SkyHD box (£300-500) and pay for a SkyHD subscription (~£40/month, or ~£10/month more if you already have Sky Digital) just because you say so? I think they're just trying to fob you off (and rightfully so), and have no real intentions of going HDTV any time soon.

Have some patience and wait another year or so, by which time your money will stretch a lot further and there will actually be a decent range of HD content to watch.

Seriously, Im only 17 and earning my own money. But there is more to life than just watching TV. Dont get me wrong now and again i like to watch a good film, but why dont you enjoy life rather than complaining about pointless stuff that you do not need.

Yeap agreed, HDTV looks impressive LCD screens are coming down in price and theres some good deals coming about Beeb/Sky and soon CableTV will go HDTV its still all too early to jump onto it give it 6-12 months and I bet u prices will be even better.

Heck when I was 15, my parents were saying daily were gonna get sky tv and I couldnt wait for it that was untill I realised never even got it, I had to save up and buy everything myself lol

TVs not that important true, but hey its good ;)

Download the Nvidia PureVideo_1080p.wmv file its a cracker for HDTV presentations.....

ok you have all got the wrong end of the stick, forget about it, this was about how parents contradict themselves not me nagging about BUY me this BUY me that etc etc.
