Flying out beginning of October and can't help but think parking is stupidly expensive, £87 for 2 weeks...

Does anyone know a cheaper option? (we fly at silly o'clock so getting someone to drop us off isn't an option)

A hotel and parking for 2 weeks is the same price (£87)

£87 seems very good value. I paid £90 for three days last week (although that was pretty bad value).

How far away do you live?

I paid about £40 for 13 days when I last flew from Birmingham, £87 for 14 days, given its Heathrow, seems reasonable to me.

I've just paid er... £93 ? for our 15 day stay at heathrow with Purple Parking. Meet and Greet service at the terminal too, so if you don't want to hand your keys over you will easily get it cheaper than that. For our dates It was circa £70. Our prices were slightly inflated though due to 15 day not 14 day (got to love long haul flights !)

+1 for Purple Parking here.

My car spends more time in Purple Parking car parks than on my driveway at the moment!

My GF's friend use to live all of about 2 minutes from Gatwick airport, they've moved now but whenever we fly from Gatwick we just park in the residential parking bit of that road and get a £5 taxi. All the houses have driveways so it's a parking area for about 8 cars and ours is the only one ever there.

£5 taxi when you land and no parking charges.

Could try one of the 'park on my drive' websites to give extra security rather then parking in a free zone but you'd still have the hassle of getting to the airport I couldn't be bothered with the hassle and be taking the Heathrow parking option.

Purple Parking is another option but there bus times aren't as frequent and a little extra journey time.

Also depends if you are going with kids which gives you extra hassle.

As much as my car isn't worth very much, leaving it on a London street for 2 weeks would scare the life out of me, can't say I'd enjoy my holiday not knowing it's safe(ish)

I paid £70 for 10 days a month back, that was T5 business parking too so got to go right on the little pods too. Then, to top that off, I got 14% cashback through topcashback. :)

I'll drive you down in your car, and store it in a secure parking location for as long as you'd like.

As long as you waive all of my liability and leave £300 "just in-case" for fuel money.

:D
