Parking Charge Notice

The last paragraph isn't very interesting, it's a company trying its best to disparage good advice as it blows their business model to ****.

Yeah but what happens if you do seek proper legal advice? Surely any decent solicitor is just going to instruct you to put the "fine" straight in the shredder?

Most probably yes.

They have never won at court yet or more accurately have never presented a case to court; it is a business built on empty threats.

Hmm.

Sadly I (or rather, my other half) are one of the long line of people who have actually given money to these companies.

My god, what a row it caused when I found out she'd done it.

That's it, tickets that look real and letters that sound official. People pay.

Never do it again unless the legallities have changed.

I parked in a poorly marked dissabled bay in a quiet retail park a few months late at night popping into a shop, I did notice but didn't care the place was empty.

Five minutes latter 'PCN' on the window with a note on the back to officers saying they should not advise non payment if presented with it :D

Still waiting for anything, which would get binned by due course anyway.

They probably don't even want to waste money on DVLA data (a few quid per driver detail, criminal that our state sells our details)
