Alright guys

Just had a parking charge notice off these. Anyone ever delt with these before?

Wanting 90 + 30 admin fee's off me for parking in a free car park at the Chesterfield hotel. The company i work for holded a staff meeting at this hotel and was all told by the hotel staff to park in there carpark why we had the meeting.

Just rang my company up to find out a few of my work mates have had the same letter to.

Obviously Im not going to pay this as it is pathetic.... Can this company actually do anything about it when i tell them to get. ****ed?

Thanks

You should pay the fine for this shocking sentence. A little bad grammar or dodgy spelling is permissible but dear god.

Anyway, just ignore the letter, you might get a number of others each more threatening but don't respond. There is plenty of advice out there on dealing with private parking company fines (e.g. here).

Speak to your company and they should sort it out on your behalf

During the summer I was commuting to work and was parking in a supermarket carpark that was monitored by parking eye. I was allowed to park there (was given permission) and my registration was passed over to parking eye. But I had a couple of issues when I first started parking there and when I changed my car which meant I had a couple of parking fines through the post.
I just went into the supermarket with the fine, told them what had happened and they sorted it out on my behalf

LOL
As soon as I read the word "holded" I really wanted to slap somebody!

holded there why i wroted the ticket myselfs.

I mean... be sure that the car park is not one of these one hour free parking jobbies.

Wrong, step 1 is to ignore it, followed by ignoring all the other junk mail they send you.

Still means nothing, private company lost no money from them parking there, no civil case to answer.

Why, at the end of the day you broke the conditions of the carpark and therefore are getting charged for it.

You company said you could park there so its up to them to sort it out

My mate parks in that car park every day and has never been clamped and never had anything other than a letter off them.
