We're very happy perched on top of our hill in Devizes but the disused railway tunnel I work in is leaking like a sieve. Okay, tunnels are designed to leak to keep the sleepers from drying out and warping but down the far end (>100 yards from the shop) they've damaged the roof so it's even worse than it should be.Berserker said:Being sat on top of a hill helps a lot in these cases (my local railway station temporarily became a new canal on Friday).
Abingdon's flood defences held. Reading next. The outside dining area at the back of the Oracle was flooded yesterday but it hadn't got in any shops at that point.Snapshot said:Must contact my friend in Abingdon to see if he's okay.
