I would be auctioning this off asap, to highest bidder when they realise they have a worthless piece if metal.
Except it's not is it. It's a collectors item. Plenty of people will want it, which gives it value.
Surely it's still the property of the US? Could you actually sell it?

I doubt anyone on here knows. However it's not like normal salvage stuff, as it wasn't lost. It was purposely discarded.

No, and they don't say it burns up. First stages of rockets crash into the sea. There will be no repercussions on that end.
