You can and i strongly suggest you do that. It shows you are eager and willing to do a bit of work to get the job. Think of it like this, my mate spent a couple of hours spending applications off on the internet and didn't once go physically to a shop or ring up. I applied for a handful of places and didn't use the internet. I got a job.

Also, it gives the manager the chance to match the name to a face so when/if he does see your online application, he will know what you are like. :)

Even though some companies say they only recruit through the internet, it isn't always strictly true!

I know someone who works in a recruitment company they often get calls from the local PCW they advice that you fill out the application form and they look out for your details.

I said it can work both ways, not that you HAVE to do it through an application form. By all means fill in a form if they want you to but i believe it is best for them to match a name for a face and 'sound you out' as a future employee. :)
