Partial builders? upgrade advice

Hi guys,ive had my pc now for a few years and am thinking of upgrading basically everything.

Current build:

i5-7600
rx-570 4gb
16gb ddr4 2133mhz
corsair vs450 psu
1tb hdd
Samsung 256gb ssd


Potential build:

Keep the case,hdd and ssd?


So ive got a few questions,first off do you guys think this would be a decent build,or have any suggestions how to improve or things I don't really need and could save on? Budget is about 1k but could go a bit higher. I only use pc for gaming and mainly play shooters and rpgs.

Im not comfortable doing these upgrades myself but all big sites ive seen only offer build service on new builds not partial so are there any reputable companies or people anyone knows where I could send new parts with case and drives to be built?

Orrrr should I just get a whole new build and maybe sell current pc on ebay or something,not sure what any of its worth but I doubt very much?

And would definitely recommend new SSD, unless you just love loading times of HDDs.
Half TB is pretty much minimum.

Thanks for the very helpful reply! Yeah tbf i do struggle a bit with the ssd and find myself deleting stuff a lot. Also yeah i do tend to get drawn to the brands i recognize as im not very knowledgeable when it comes to this sort of stuff so thanks for the suggestions.

I thought id still go for the 3600x as for an extra 40 quid may as well as spending a bit anyway. also i know there's a lot of cheaper (and prob better) cases but liked the look of them for a while.

Like i said before i wouldnt be comfortable building this but when i try to configure a build i cant select all the parts ive listed? If i contact them showing this particular build would they be able to do it?

If your going to spend £40 on a 5% bump in clock speed then you might aswell spend another 40 for 33% more cores.

True,you got any experience with b grade stuff? ive read good and bad. Also,would I need a better cooler for the 3700x?
