From that linked page:
What on earth is vegetarian bacon, surely that is an oxymoron?
I've no issue with vegetarian food and I often eat it myself, but why call it bacon when it isn't bacon, doesn't look like bacon, doesn't taste like bacon, doesn't smell like bacon and doesn't feel like bacon? You may as well call mashed potato bacon.
As for partially defrosting and then refreezing, I wouldn't. You'll probably be fine doing that with most things, but I wouldn't be comfortable with it.
Yeah but the product he linked to is is the version made from Quorn sold by Asda that I imagine taste like and look like shoe-leather. They are not the same.
What do you mean supposedly? They are still not the same despite containing eggs so I don't get your point?OP himself linked to the Sainsbury's version that has egg, but supposedly isn't the same as the Quorn product. Still has egg though.
Quorn offers a wide range of meat analogues: meat-free products made to resemble meat and chicken. These are extremely high in protein and produced entirely from mycoprotein, a type of fungus. They contain no soya.

It actually says defrost at room temperature and place back in the freezer once separated online but not on the package.
