Partition issue?

all i just got 400gb WD, and formated and its showing 372 after format and ntfs parition is done, is this fine or is it an issue?

This is perfectly normal.

It's because HD manufacturers measure size of drives in decimal numbers rather than binary or something.

so 400 GB = 400 gibs or something = 400,000 MB

400,000/1024 = (Approx) actual size of partitioned space in GB

so yeah, it is normal.
