Reserved is where recovery partitions are created in case things go bad. Best not to mess with them.
Creating partitions probably won't be necessary. I have split my OS drive so I can store games on it without them being on the C: drive. That way when I create OS images for backup they are only about 30GB each time rather than 130GB.
That is completely normal. Those small partitions at the top are to help Windows function correctly and to make sure that you are able to boot for example. It stores the MBR and other vital stuff within those partitions.
The HDD isn't partitioned because Windows was not installed on there. Windows only makes one master boot record, so if you were to install multiple instances, the MBR would be altered to tell the system where to boot from. Think of it as a filing system for loading up your operating system.
You can manually partition it, but unless you've got a good reason to do it, I personally wouldn't bother.
