Partitioning advice please.

Hello everyone,
I have used DBAN to clean a WD640Gb HDD and now I want to load windows64b operating system. Is there any benifit in making a seperate partion for the OS in terms of speed and also making another partition for my apps, then the rest of the disc for storage. If there are any advantages could you please tell me how to make these partitions when installing the windows OS

There's no speed advantage to having separate partitions on the same drive.

It will take the same time to read/write data whether you have the whole drive as 1 partition or split it into 3.
