Hi all

I'll be getting a 256gb SSD and want to partition it for OS, and the other for my games and other bits.

Is partitioning SSD the same as for HDD ? I normally do the partitioning during windows installation.

Is there any drawback in partitioning SSDs, is it better to get separate drives (eg. 64gb for OS and 128/256gb for files/games)

thanks

Exactly the same as a HDD, but unlike a HDD speeds are the same on every part of the drive so there are no performance advantages/disadvantages to partitioning - only practicality when it comes to OS reinstalls.
