I am currently running a sata 120gb seagate barracuda, 8 series, and the drive has 3 partitions, a 10g for windows, 30gb, for My docs and the rest for program files.
However, i am looking into buying a 250bg Hitachi t7k250 sata 2 drive and was gonig to give this two partitons, one for windows and one for Programs, then give he seagate 1 partiton for lossless music files, and one for My docs.
would there be any speed reductions from doing this and is it better to jsut keep the one partiton on each drive?
