Party Pieces / Tricks

When I was 12 I could touch the floor with my mouth without my hands touching the floor. Now if that's not attractive I don't know what is.

(can't say I've tried it recently ;))

Makes me think of someone holding their hands behind their back then falling over and smashing their face on the floor!

i thought his feet actually lift off the ground or something.

Actually the do.

WARNING SPOILER OMGWTF??!!?!? etc...

On his show he did the trick and the camera actually panned behind him ad showed him off the ground completly by a few inches.

He cheated. ;)

He did the standard trick, got the reaction from the crowd around him then they left. He then got a simple winch/pulley/harness in and got a couple of the production staff to put on similar coloured clothes to the ones the public were wearing (to make it look realistic when it was cut into the real trick). Then he was lifted off the ground by the winch system and recorded. Voila, David Blaine looking like he could properly levitate on TV.

EDIT: I know I wold be able to find a clip on our favourite video host.

Ive got quite a few:

I can make one eye crosseyed, can do that on both sides independently

I can make my feet point backwards (almost completely)

I can make my stomache roll, my shoulder blades poke out abourt 2 inches from my back (that ones not that great)

Probably my best one is moving my body around and my head stays perfectly still. Really good for a bit of dancing, but after a while really does my neck in.

Oh yeah, and i can move most of my facial muscles independently, such as wiggling the end of my nose, ears wiggling separately, eyebrows independently and the such.

What can i say, i have a strange body.

Another party trick is reciting Pi to 52 decimal places. This is a rather easy accomplishment, but most people seem to be amazed by it.

Sometimes I do moderate mental calculations for people, but this isn't that hard too because the people who ask me usually say something like: "what is 43 * 27?" so it is fairly easy to do.

It is amusing at how people react to the pretty simple task of memorising Pi, even 20 decimals is enough to make people amazed (in some circumstances). :p

ooh, that reminds me, I can... err... do this thing with my hands that would be best described in a picture. Rather difficult to take with both my hands being used and only having a rubbish camera phone.

Basically you place both of your hands so that the tips of your fingers and thumbs all touch the same tip on the opposite hand. bend your middle fingers so that the part of those fingers between the two knuckles are flat against each other. Then seperate the tips of your ring fingers from each other without moving or seperating anything else.

I find this incredibly easy yet no-one else I know has been able to do it..
