It's a pretty stupid argument really. 5mm matte finish European sourced acrylic is more expensive than the aluminium used to make mainstream cases from China. Then add UK labour, warehouse costs, CNC machining over folding/stamping and the list goes on...
Saying some grades of aluminium is more expensive than acrylic is like saying some chocolate is more expensive than some sweets... it all depends what it is. In this instance; our case material vs that of the average case differ in price a lot.

PARVUM HOF will return soon, several deliveries have now been made and we are ready to progress once FURIA is complete. Three substantial slabs of copper may influence a slight case layout change though!

Get ready for huge amounts of copper, acetal and inlays, here comes the swag from Diamond Cooling!
Not only those three but also some epic HyperX kit arrived for the build, 32GB of Savage DDR4 and a pair of 240GB SSD's.

Now that we've witnessed the magnitude of the mighty HOF blocks it seems likely that the case layout will be changed to something a little more unconventional, perhaps with them stood vertically at the front. Lots more to come on this as we step up the hype to get it ready in time for the summer events.

Ok so a change of motherboard for HOF, no big reason but I think you'll agree it is about to get even more exciting! There should be several updates over the coming week, we have lots more kit to show off, a new sponsor and a plenty of revisions to the case on the way to fit this beast!

Ok guys here it is, the magnificent D8, no teasers this time
Naturally a few extra HyperX goodies were needed to truly show off the D8's capabilities.
Our plans for this build are quickly snowballing hopefully the watercooling kit will soon be released from UK customs and work on the case can commence.
Yeah, builds have a tendency to do that....especially if you can expense some of it

The Platinum mark comes from the Nichicon 12K Platinum Caps used, everything about the little branding it has is distinctly ASUS WS and the gold is not too intense just like the Pro series.
