I'm loving the look of the Phanteks Evolv and said it would be the case to replace my Red & Black Parvum S2 as depicted here:

Would you change the case?

I an slightly fascinated by the Evolv and fell in love with it when it was announced.

I have the evolve and it's the best case I have purchased in terms of looks and build quality.

Side panels that you can not physically bend due to the thick aluminium, this adds to the case weight but it mean there is no noise and creaking/rattling like you get with cheaper aluminium and plastic cases.

The window is too dark so led's are essential to show off your gear

Cooling is as good as any case I have had and quiet when fan controlled via the mobo.

I love the swing doors making it easy to access your hardware.

If you want a change from plastic cases then the evolve is a good choice.

I've been trying to find pictures of builds. Do you have a build log or can you post some?

I'm very very tempted - much to the dismay of my wife!

I'd change it mate, I own both the Primo, and the Luxe, and ar by far the best cases, I've ever owned, and I'm in the process of buying parts for a Evolve build too. I can't recommend Phanteks enough, for build quality, and ideas, there are a lot of established case manufacturers out there that could take a leaf out of their book.

I'm trying really hard not to buy it. I think I'm going to wait until after Christmas in the hope there may be a deal on between now and the new year!

+For the Phanteks, i can not fault the quality of the workman ship on my Enthoo Primo, if i was to do a small build it would be in this case.

One thing that does concern me about this case though is how good the airflow is??

That's been my question from the beginning to be honest. While I'm pretty set on it and the videos are convincing, the plate at the front & top can't help the airflow.

There is no case like the Parvum S2. It's one of the best cases ever made imho. Needs a few things ironing out , but still a amazing design that hasn't been matched yet.

The biggest issue for me is the PCIE bracket. Due to the type of material, you can only remove the gpu 2-3 times before the screw holes become totally useless.

I've just seen this, think you might be interested in it.....

Going by that video it will give you more options if you intend on watercooling your pc! You have to commend Phanteks for their build quality, they kinda went all out on this case!

Looks OK but I think the window could be wider and shorter. Don't want to see the PSU and should be at least another 3 if not 4" wider!

This is also a very interesting review. The noise aspect is somewhat concerning, although I've seen numerous reviews of this case and if anything they all commented that it was quiet, so I don't know what to make of this...
