Going well all. Sorry updates have slowed a little, more tweaking stages at the moment.

First up was to finish the cable management, pop all these wires into the allocated holes:

400.jpg

Next install some MORE SSDs! Had to modify this sides top section to allow for the fittings to actually fit. Just one of them things....

401.jpg

Rear return tubes and all cables no complete:

402.jpg

We actually then went ahead and filled the loop with clear coolant. Just to double check each loop and ensure the system is running with no problems. We did not test any of the hardware from sponsors on air first (silly I know). However fortunately no issues at hand. Bios no problem and everything detected. Got some F/W stuff to sort out with the raid card as having a few issues there so will spend the next week or so bleeding the nightmare loop and running some tests with the system.

Its by no means finished cosmetically as we have quite a few external panels to cut but the wiring and loop side of the build is finished. A few teaser shots before we spoil the grand coolant colour photos and any video etc:

We will see you all VERY soon with EYE CANDY!!!!

looking good, whats the count on the fluid volume? 5-10 Litres? :p

Well 5 went in and its not full/bled yet, got a little bit to go, to be honest about 1 did get split (luckily not on any of Magnus). A good 5-6 liters full, will keep you update :D

This.. this is just immense!! There is so much design talent in this project - and on these forums generally, so many great ideas!

o7 Parvum

Thanks very much. We've put a lot of time and love into this one. Just looking forward to letting some games rip at super high res on the Asus Swift!

We love a bit of Candy round here, must be all those haribos !

Seriously though your build is pure eye candy as is, its been a pleasure to see this build come along. Looking forward to the next update. :D

haha true, had a lot of free Haribo's with hardware! They do just the trick when you need the extra sugar boost from a hard days modding. Update soon, waiting to sort some little problems with the raid card!

More quality work, brilliant to see!

Thanks dude!

You just got the 1 PSU in this build yeah? Tis gonna get a workout with all that kit to power!

Yeah just the single one in this. Raid card and 3 780's, should be okay! Fingers crossed anyway haha.

Plus 4 SSD's, 2 pumps, overclocked CPU, mobo and a million fans! But I'm sure it will be ok, it's a 1.2 kilowatter isn't it?

8 SSDs, overclocked everything, 17 fans, 3 pumps, 3 mechanical drives.. oh and the raid card! Lots and lots :D

It's a 1.2kw yeah, only 3 780's though so should be OK to do the job. We hope :D

I don't know what to say about this build it that crazy that brilliant and the workmanship is beyond anything I can describe!

I cannot wait for you guys to start doing custom inlaying and etching I a pav case customised!

Thank you very much dude, means a lot! We are really trying to push it here. Not many case companies that'll show you the case being made (probably because its being made a million miles away)..

We will open up some custom work in small sections. Perhaps taking a certain amount of jobs each month etc as to not take on too much work. Watch this space of course :)

This is literally insane!
Never seen anything like it
Incredible work here guys :D

Thanks Moshi!

nice to have seen the build up close today, be great when its finished, m-atx put together now, just waiting for me parts, let me know how you get on with the tint window so i can come and get one, great service from a great company :-)

Great to have you stop by. Will be sure to keep you posted. We are away for a little this week but will be onto it at the end of the week :),

Looking forward to doing the fan controller with you.

I'm planning to keep my eyes peeled :p
But as my hands are itching if you're taking custom orders by the time my funds permit I'll be taking a hacksaw to my current case and making the poor thing a Frankenstein to hold the hardware until you are ready :D

Hope your case makes it on the road and I can see the beast with my own eyes. Keep the updates flowing :)

It WILL be at iSeries. In fact it almost has to be! It will be on the Asus stall with some cool demos and with us in the evenings. Can't wait!

ah dear... :D
If you put the case onto the market everyone will be happy :D

We are but doing our best! The range will grow! Fans next :D

To update anyone following:

We are waiting on LSI at this stage. Had some firmware problems. Until we hear back from them the build is on hold.

We are flying to Germany for CeBit tonight to land back Thursday. If anyone wants to say hello we will be at the event Tuesday and Wednesday.

Updates soon we promise

DAM
Looking good

:D damn we love da raid!

Hnnng!

For when you absolutely, positively have to be in the server before anybody else...

Ahah indeed! Especially considering league of legends load time has a % load time race before you enter game. I can safely say I shan't be beaten on Magnus any time soon.

So about this raid card your now going to buy? ;D

Oh also 27 degrees on the raid chip. Gotta love making a water block for this hot little bugger.

Holy sequential read speed batman! :O

And I thought my 900MB/s read was good!

It's pretty tasty huh! However I'm guessing you are running a pair of SSDs on an on board controller in raid 0? Thats still a super fast set up and more stable I'm sure. Also probably about £900 odd difference in price haha.

hnnnnnnng

:p

Hi all. Very happy at the Parvum HQ.

The beast that is Magnus is alive. All hardware working, huge raid speeds and almost fully bled of air! In fact all cutting is now 99% complete. We have a few tiny touches like a SLI bridge cover to make but otherwise its ready!

This comes with good timing, we wanted a good month clear to arrange final photos at the studio and shoot an awesome video. This month being until Insomnia i51 at the Ricoh Arena! Magnus will be on the Asus stall during the day running a Gsync Demo. But also with us in the gaming hall in the evening. Seats: JH-A16 - JH-A20 so please come check it out if you are there!

So onto the update. Before we show any coolant I'd like to introduce what I believe is the final sponsor on the build and with no better way to finish; than with Western Digital.

From the start if you have been following you will know there is a tidy Icydock just chilling in the rear of the system. This of course would never be complete with out some storage drives.

WD stepped up here big time to supply us with 3 x 2TB Black drives for Magnus. I must say they are just mad quality and fit the build undoubtedly!

415.jpg

416.jpg

417.jpg

So perhaps onto what you want to see.... giving you SOME, but not all. We are heading to the photo studio to shoot final photos before doing an on location final video of the system.

We just wanted to at least show you some awesome sneaky preview shots of the now its filled. The whole build was really based around the two tone, we wanted to have the black and white alternate and at times even pass through each other.

To finish the look we opted for colour changing RGB LEDs, but set to white light, the light they create is not exactly pure white but a mixture of colour that in this case, the frosted acrylic will disperse to give an almost pearlescent look. Much happier with this than solid white as it really gives the bottom chamber more depth.

I wont say any more and let you see some eye candy!

Hope you all enjoy :D Any questions please ask!

Any comments do say! Really want to get some response, feedback, compliments, questions so please GOGOGO :D

Lads. You have outdone yourselves as per usual. Speaking of I series.

I will be sitting opposite this beast so don't be shy, say hi to me too!

If I pull my finger out I should have h2orange done in time.

SEE YOU AT LAN! HURRY UP BUILD GOGOGOOGOGO

Would love an answer to my question (post 310) as I'm designing my own case and those cubes would be ideal.

Edit: Nevermind, found where I can buy them :)

Glad you found them, sorry I didn't help sooner. GL with project.

nice to see it running, once you have it complete your be bored and wont no what to do, im def up for a ATX case when you get them done in the future, will have to pop down again and have a butchers at it all in its glory, will bring me case down as need to do this fan controller mod and a cut out , will give you something to do :) any joy on the tint window, will have my project log up soon, once ive finished braiding the extensions , mdpc is def good stuff.

Yeah you gotta come see the thing running! Looking forward to doing the fan controller so just drop us a text. Ah yeah doing it yourself is very expensive to start. The first bits of kit will last you forever tho!

So the beast is alive! Amazing. I am wel jelly of dat raid array!

EDIT: and the rest of the build of course ;) You gonna be selling this case?

It is! It breaths! Woo. I for one am extremely fond of the raid.

We are for sure yeah, this was an early prototype to test strength etc.

I cannot wait to see this at i51 too, it looks stunning. :)

We look forward to sharing it with you.

So,
How much fluid?
and how far does it have to travel?
:p

Not TOO much, about 6 liters. Still enough extra weight haha.

I'll try get back to you on travel length haha.

Ah nice! This will be my next case then! I can only assume it will be like £300+?

And I don't expect you to answer that one cause I doubt you have any idea at all what the retail price might me lol!

It wont be more than £300 put it that way. Stoked we already have our first customer!

So our friends over at Nvidia sent us an awesome little gift. In fact one of the only 3 Nvidia have in the UK. Since we have the 780's it was only the correct thing to do and use the LED feature. However the decision is how and what to do with this? It fits in PERFECT with the build... just is the green too out of place? I imagine the LED is probably actually white, with the green rubber giving the green tone. I mean we want to support team green as much as possible on this one but will it kill the monotone?

Please let me know what you think and if you have any ideas?

TEAMGREEN.jpg

Take the lid off. Check if it is a white led with green on top. If it is, change the green plastic/rubber to white?

Will defo take it appart to see, I presumed it was because the rubber is green. The rubber is stuck... like, if you take me off, for 1 you cant get the same in white, for 2 you'll probably make a horrible mess.

Thinking of a super dark black vinyl film, but maybe the green will still show... hmmm

So... the bad news is, after getting super excited on this bridge, figuring out what to do with it... it doesn't fit.

LE SIGH.

The bridge is a good 15mm longer at the bottom than standard ones, thus it hits the XSPC rad bellow it.

Hmmm, problems. Stuck with the standard bridge for now. Tried a number of things but we just get the feeling it looks like your just trying to hard to make something look better.

We honestly spent a bunch of time working on a custom bridge, I can honestly say we didn't come up with anything that looked nice. It all looks like you just tried to cover something I guess. Personally as we our also helping our partners Asus here it may be left plain like this.

I've spoken to Nvidia and they said we can do what ever we want with it. We will run some kind of giveaway. Perhaps more of a modders only you tell us your project or something like this. The problem is I can already see interest from a few forums so will have to think of a way.

That's a shame you couldn't find a way.
everyone loves giveaways though :D
Not that'd I'd go in as I have no use for it :p

How're things in Parvum land? still rushed off your feet or are things leveling out?

Yeah it just didn't really fit in by the end of it all. At literally didn't fit in also.. haha. Will work out a give away, based on peoples builds who can actually use it or something. It's so rare needs a good home!

Still pretty mental, we did a few sneaky custom cases for people just to keep the scene happy. However only a few... distribution is mental. We have a fan coming to sale soon also!

they will be getting another distribution order off me soon... muah ha hah haa!!!

Oh god. You'll be happy to hear we've got stock panels for another 80 cases and have the mid walls bent and tapped. Just packing them to go. We are staying on top of this mad one this time!

Hi guys, almost time for the final photos. But first... we had to take them. We visited a good friend of ours Tom Barnes. Now usually he shoots portraits, lots of band promo and model work. Something different for him here. At least the model did what he asked :D

Check out his portfolio here: www.tombarnesphoto.com

I suppose this can be considered a teaser; one last one before the final photos. But a chance for anyone interested in photography to ask questions. What gear was used etc.

In the process of working on a Magnus video. Location has been found... ! :D

having spent a weekend with this rig, i can honestly say this is the most awesome thing i have ever seen.

also, i see some Project H2Orange up there ;)

nice one lads!!!!!

Thanks Dave, was a great event all round. Loads of attention for your system. I think you showed Magnus up no? :D

I'll take 2 !

Awesome work fellas, pure class, well done. Hope this brings you lots of business and recognition that you deserve.

You will make a Magnus stacker? Sounds good bro :D

Thanks for the kind words, really got us so much attention, did the sponsors proud I hope :)

Can't believe I've only just noticed you put the final pictures up. It looks awesome, obviously :D

Ah better late that never! Super happy with the photos. Glad you like.

Wooo my rig is 3rd pic Down!

It sure is! Loved it.

I can honestly say, this is a stunning case. I spent ages looking at it and chatting to the Parvum gents and they've made a masterpiece.

Stunning feat and congratulations are due.

Well done Gents! Was nice to meet you also :)

Thanks snips, was great to meet you and chat. Love having a little natter about the systems. Cant wait for summer lan. Will you be going?

Incredible - the attention to detail is on another level. The custom raid card water block was inspired!

I'd be paranoid moving it though with those two exposed tubes running down the front though!!!

Thanks on the raid card, it really stepped the build up for us. Considering also temps drop from 80 to 24 with the block it really did help!

Ahh moving it was scary for the first time but happy now we've got the experience. Glad we took a trolly :D

At 50kgs, I'd be worried too!

Almost weighs the same as me (Justin).
