Pascal Titan v 980ti SLI

980ti SLI is faster than any single card solution. The ONLY reason to consider what you're suggesting is if you're having specific SLI issues with specific games you value. If you're not then scratch that daft upgrade itch with something else ;-)

The GPU scene has gone a bit dull again at the mo. It's amd's fault for not providing valid competition.

Wait for a 1080Ti or Volta, it's a slight downgrade from SLI 980ti's. I wouldn't be doing this sort of upgrade right now as it is not worth the extra for a Titan P unless you get a good deal on the second hand market for a Titan P.

I'd wait for Volta.

Both TXP/1080Ti won't be faster than 980Ti SLI. The only time you will is on non SLI supporting games.

I'd only consider a 1080Ti if your not getting the perf you want with SLI. If you are, then leave it. You might get £300 each for your Ti's, and then have to pay a further £2-300 for a side grade basically.

Sli is sh1te.I'm prepared for a slating but it's sh1te.The support is terrible and most games that I played that supported it the scaling was dirt.

Such a valuable contribution.

Sli is fine if you don't mind a bit if tweaking. The odd title doesn't support it but anyone who dismisses it out of hand has clearly never used it.

You could at least name the games that you're having issues with.
Forgive me if that statement offended anyone, that's my opinion.Fo4 was terrible for me 1070sli and that game is stunning ultrawide.Single Titan it's great no microstutter etc.Witcher 3 is noticably smoother single card imo.Gears 4 had no support for sli which sickened me.2nd card sitting there doing nothing.Didn't like that.Doom also didn't like my 1070s sli. That's just a few.

Let me guess, you have a single card set up? :p
Yes.If sli was that good I would go another Titan but it's not for gaming at least.Single most powerful card is best option and that's coming from genuine experience;)
Let's put it this way.My experience with 2 1070s at 3440 x 1440 was lacking.The titan is perfect.No issues other than cost.Price to performance is brutal but it's a titan.We knew that.
